Emergency services are at the scene of a serious two-vehicle crash on Blenheim Road in Sockburn.
A police spokesperson said they were called to the scene at around 2:35 pm. The crash occurred near Watts Road.

A St John spokesperson confirmed three ambulances, two rapid response units, and an operations manager were sent.
Chris Lynch Media understands the incident involved a head-on collision following a medical event.
Three patients were transported to Christchurch Hospital, two in critical condition and one in serious condition, according to the St John spokesperson.
The road was closed, and diversions were in place. Police are urging motorists to avoid the area.
The Serious Crash Unit was called to the scene.
