Celebrate Bishopdale

Come together as a community to celebrate living in Bishopdale! Enjoy a wide range of performances from local school groups, artists and organisations, numerous information stalls, have-a-go activities and arts and crafts, and food for sale.

Entertain the kids with bouncy castles, face painting, gymnastics and soft archery. Come along to Bishopdale Park from 11am to 2pm Saturday to check out Celebrate Bishopdale.

Bishopdale Skate Jam

Held in conjunction with Celebrate Bishopdale is the Bishopdale Skate Jam. This have-a-go youth skateboard event has skate demonstrations, best-trick competitions, learn to skate opportunities with the Skate Skool team and free skateboard hire.

This event is aimed at 8- to 15-year-olds but also suitable for younger or older audiences. The Skate Jam will also be on from 11am to 2pm Saturday at Bishopdale Skate Park.

VIP Frames & Trusses Christmas Show Parade

The VIP Frames & Trusses Show Parade is a festival style event with roving entertainment, an amusement park, a Christmas market, food vendors and large picnic areas for families to come and make a day of it.

Popular characters including Cinderella, Superman, Batman, Mickey and Mini House and Alice in Wonderland will make an appearance along with new floats the Princesses, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Beauty and the Beast. And of course the grand appearance of the ultimate Christmas team – Santa and Mrs Claus. The parade will be on from 11am to 4.30pm Sunday at the Canterbury Agricultural Park.

Pesti Day

Join us on Sunday for an exciting and educational day at the Riverlution Pesti Day Extravaganza. This event is packed with fun activities and workshops designed to help you manage garden pests organically, promote biodiversity and connect with nature.

Come along from 10am – 2pm Sunday. Riverlution is located at 46A Vogel Street, Richmond.

Christmas Encraftment Market

Come browse and purchase quality locally handmade items while enjoying food and refreshments. Discover the talents of local artisans and craftspeople and take home a piece of creativity and craftsmanship.

The Christmas Encraftment Market will be on at Pioneer Recreation and Sport Centre from 10am to 4pm Saturday and Sunday.
