The Greater Hornby Christmas Market is set to bring festive cheer this Saturday, with an array of family-friendly activities and a chance to support the local community.
The event, held at South Hornby School on Amyes Road from 10 am to 2 pm, promises to be the biggest market of the year, with twice as many craft stalls as previous events.
Greater Hornby Residents Association’s Louise Woolley said, “As well as having over twice as many craft stalls at this market (our last one for the year), there will be plenty of FREE entertainment for the family, including a Santa’s Grotto, bouncy castle, face painting, performances from some local schools, and a scavenger hunt where they will win a prize for returning a correct entry form.”
The market will also feature a collection point for non-perishable food items, which will be donated to the Hornby Salvation Army Food Bank.
“With a wide range of activities and the opportunity to give back to those in need, the Greater Hornby Christmas Market offers a perfect way for families to kick off the holiday season” Woolley said.
