Organising the morning tea shout for the SPCA team was a great experience, especially because I got to indulge in some of Coupland’s fantastic catering offerings.

I decided to go for Option B, catering for 10-24 people, and I couldn’t have been happier with the choice.  I popped into the Hornby branch to speak with the staff.

They were friendly and knowledgeable, helping me pick the perfect package.  The process was smooth, and I felt confident everything was going to be a hit.

When I picked up the food, it looked absolutely tempting. The selection included club sandwiches, mini rolls, savouries, and a sweet selection.

Naturally, I had to try everything to make sure it was up to scratch! First, the club sandwiches were beautifully fresh, with fillings that just hit the spot – ham, egg, and salad, layered perfectly between soft bread.

The mini rolls were equally impressive. I loved the mix of ham and chicken, both so packed with flavour that it was hard to choose a favourite. The rolls themselves were soft and fresh, making them the ideal size for morning tea.

The savouries were one of my highlights – the pastry was buttery and perfectly flaky. I especially loved the mini quiche, which had a nice balance of savoury and tangy flavours.

You could tell these weren’t your average mass-produced bites; there was something home-made about them, and they tasted incredible. And then there were the sweets. The muffins, in particular, were a standout. I tried the blueberry.  Delicious!

The SPCA team raved about the selection, especially the savouries and the sweets.  Everything was devoured quickly, and the quality really stood out.

I’ll definitely be ordering from Coupland’s again – next time, I might even try the filled donuts or the catering carrot cake, which also caught my eye in their brochure!

Visiting the Hornby branch was a great touch, but I know that if I’m ever in a rush, the online ordering process would be just as easy.  Coupland’s truly delivered on taste, variety, and convenience, making the morning tea shout a total success.
