Emergency services are at the scene of a serious workplace accident in Hornby.

A police spokesman told chrislynchmedia.com emergency services were called to premises on Carmen Road after receiving a report at around 12.40pm that one person was in need of medical assistance.

St John said they were notified of the workplace and  sent two ambulances, one rapid response unit, and an operations manager.

They referred additional inquires to police.
