There’s been a large emergency response in Redcliffs this afternoon following a ‘firearms’ incident.

A police spokeswoman told chrislynchmedia.com police initially responded to reports of a firearms incident at a residential address on Main Road, Redcliffs around 2:55pm.

Police were armed as a precaution.  After arriving at the address, no evidence was found of a firearm being discharged.

 A St John spokeswoman said they were notified, but crews were not required.

No one was injured, the police spokeswoman said.
