The Christchurch SPCA is calling on local animal lovers to consider opening their hearts and homes to a playful and affectionate kitten named Wingdings, who is ready for adoption.
Wingdings, a six-month-old female kitten with a distinctive black and white fluffy coat, has quickly become a favourite among SPCA volunteers.
Bridget, one of the dedicated volunteers at the Christchurch SPCA, described Wingdings as a delightful and easy-going companion.
“She’s a beautiful little kitten. “Wingdings is playful and loves a good cuddle. She’s also a fan of napping in the sun, and on sunny days like today, you’ll often find her basking in the warmth.”
For those interested in adopting Wingdings or learning more about the adoption process, the Christchurch SPCA offers several options.
“People can call the Christchurch office directly, or they can visit the SPCA website to register their interest.”
Wingdings is just one of many animals at the SPCA looking for a loving forever home. The organisation encourages potential adopters to visit the shelter or browse online to find the perfect pet match.
Bridget said that the days of having a specific “kitten season” are long gone, with a steady influx of kittens arriving throughout the year.
“Now, every day is kitten season.”
