The Good Samaritan who thwarted an attempted break-in by a group of youths at a Christchurch service station has come forward after his boss recognised him in an article on chrislynchmedia.com.
The BP Redcliffs owner wanted to reward the man who intervened during the early morning hours of 2 April, around 3AM, when the youths attempted and failed to smash the front door open.
Their efforts were foiled by a man who was charging his EV van in the back carpark.
The BP Redcliffs owner contacted chrislynchmedia.com hoping to finding the hero and thanking him for his quick actions.
Peter, the Good Samaritan, contacted chrislynchmedia.com after his boss shared the article with him.
He said he was working a nightshift as a Lime scooter contractor when the incident occurred.
The owner of BP Redcliffs told chrislynchmedia.com he had rewarded Peter with a BP gift card and expressed his gratitude to the community for the support he received following the article’s publication.
