Sumner Art Exhibition

The Sumner Art Society is holding its annual cash-and-carry art exhibition, featuring vibrant and interesting paintings and crafts to suit most.

    

A wonderful display of paintings created in watercolour, oils and acrylic as well as the dry mediums of pastel and pencil in styles from realistic to abstract.

Also available for sale are original glass vessels and Object d’art and pottery items.

Come and visit, chat with the artists and admire the wonderful view of the estuary from the Mount Pleasant Yacht Club rooms.

Riverside Multi-Cultural Festival

Join us for music and dance celebrating 30 years of the Taiwanese Hwa-Hsin Society in Christchurch. Performances, cooking demos, and crafts throughout the day.

Throughout the weekend artistic groups from a variety of cultures will be performing to celebrate and share their cultural dance and music traditions.

Organ Recital by St Andrew’s College student

Organ recital from 17-year-old Sea-am Thompson.

    

Sea-am is 17 years old and is a student at St Andrew’s College.

He is an organ and choral scholar at the Christchurch Transitional Cathedral.
