The new Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle) is a commitment to an eco-friendly, fuel-efficient vehicle without any compromise on performance.
It’s an electric vehicle (EV) that provides quiet performance, stability and handling and it’s a beautiful vehicle to drive.
I want to especially thank the team at Christchurch Mitsubishi for supporting me with this vehicle and therefore supporting local news across Christchurch.
This has been a fantastic vehicle to drive. Why? Because you feel really safe in it. Let me give you an example. I was recently in the Mackenzie Country region and I was filming in a lot of snowy environments, particularly in the Lake Tekapo region. The Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross PHEV has got a snow drive option on it, which means it grips to the road a lot more than what it normally would driving on the road.
And if you’re like me and sometimes you get a bit stressed and forget to plug the thing in at night-time, that doesn’t matter, because it still comes with fuel which l like as well.
If you have ever considered a plug in hybrid vehicle, this is probably a good option because, you will a whole day’s worth of driving around in the city, which means you save on fuel, which means more money in your back pocket.
It took me a while to figure out if the car was on or not on when I was turning it on because it is so quiet!
You don’t hear the engine and not just the battery but also the fuel engine. If you’re just using the fuel option, it’s still incredibly quiet which means you can have a decent conversation with your friends and family in this car when you’re out and about on the road. No excuses really.
So thank you, Mitsubishi for allowing me to drive this car. I just love it.
