Emergency services are at the scene of a serious crash at Mike Pero Motorsport Park in Templeton.

A police spokeswoman said police were alerted to a crash at the raceway at 10.40am.

“It appears one person has been injured but at this stage we don’t have confirmed details regarding their status.”

The driver of the vehicle is being assisted by Fire and Emergency and St John Ambulance crews.

The Pegasus Bay Drag Racing Club said after a serious incident at the track this morning today’s race meeting has been cancelled.
